WHOOOO LOVES YOU LIKE I DO CARD

Well Noah is home sick today so I finally got this cute little owl finished. I love owls but I didn't have a big enough one for this 6 x 6 card so I made my own from this and that. This was so easy. For instance, the feet, beak and ears are all made from a heart punch. The red scalloped area behind the main part of the body was made from two oval scalloped punches. The eyes are just various size layered punches and all edged with ink pad. For the white ruffle ares along bottom, that is a piece of crate paper(streamers) taped with double side tape and folded back and forth. The little frame stands out with foam dots and I think it all goes together pretty well.

So what do you think? I think you could change from these beautiful Cosmo Cricket papers to any other color line to make this card fit for so many occasions. Just change the wording and you are all set. A little layered paper can go a long way!

HANDMAKING CHRISTMAS!

Well I was thinking, and I figured I should start showing everyone some of the handmade items that I have created for this holiday season. As many of you know, I have totally branched out from just scrapbooking with the beautiful papers that I have in my stash. No matter if it is a stack of vintage music books or some great new Cosmo paper, I am trying to use it rather then stash it. So lets start with this years Kitchen Tree. I try to make this something new and fun every year. And if it is a crazy year I resort to using a bunch of my antique cookie cutters to adorn it.

This year I have used my die cutting fun to create some great ornaments that could have been around 50 years ago. I have been sorting all of the different ideas I have seen and kept running into past holidays that paper ornaments where used. So I pulled out some of my "fine" glitter. This is so easy to do with any die cutting system that you have. Or drop me a line and I can get you some of these fun shapes. So I cut them and lined with a little glue so you could still see to the old music sheets once the glitter and glue dried. And that was it. I added a couple of Candy Canes and there you are. A Kitchen Christmas tree that makes people say..." you made all of those ornaments yourself?" I love answering yes to that question.

So tonight's homework is to create something for your holiday home this year. You will really enjoy making and decorating with your own handmade ornaments!

FALL INTO THIS TREE BANNER...SO SIMPLE!

Hello all of my Scrapalicious friends! I have been taking apart this fabulous tree album that Maya road created and turning it into a Autumn Banner, and you can to.

I have simply taken the wonderful little tree and covered it with some great Cosmo Cricket paper. I love these papers with there warm colors, they truly give the feel of falling leaves and warm apple pie. I punched leaves out of the coordinating papers to adhere to the trees. After inking the edges of all the papers, (this truly finishes off what ever you are working on) I started putting it all together.

Using Rangers great Crackle medium, I covered some of the leaves, which really gave a great veining affect. And other leaves I covered with the clear coat so they had dimension. Next, I didn't have the proper size letters for the word "FALL". So I printed them off the computer, cut them out, and covered them with a clear coat. This is a simple way to get what you want and easily make it look great.

With the addition of some great black and white ribbon, (that I added brown ink to) I strung it all together to hang. So what do you all think? So simple to do and you will love the result. Just pick your favorite fall papers and make it all your own. Hey I am picturing some great winter colors, with a snow bird in the tree... Oh no I need to take apart another book now!

Lets start with these great house stickers. What CAN'T you use these little gems for. Maybe as simple as a seal for your change of address. Or added to the page of your next adventure in moving. I love, love, love these new little houses and what they can be used on will be step up a notch.

Next are these darn cute pink and blue set that I used some of the great new Cosmo Cricket paper to make. They are darling and every sticker is different. They are a wonderful soft color pallet on the beautiful Cosmo card stock that you won't be able to resist!

The last set of 16 1"(2.5cm) stickers have a great shine to them and can not be held back from screaming G~I~R~L~Y! I really love the fact that they are dark pink. It makes them a bit different because they will stand out for their great color and shine.

So which set will be arriving at your door shortly? Or maybe all 3. Either way you will love what you purchase at BRAMBLEBERRY LANE!
