So I have heard that my grandmother used to make a Pineapple Upside Down Cake in a fry pan. Here is the strange part, I do not remember this. OK, I know that I am getting older, but you think I could remember that. Well the other day my sister asked me to make one. I think it turned out pretty darn well. The taste was wonderful and I now know I need a new platter that will fit a 10 x 13 that is flat. All of my good platters have a dome and it would not lay flat.
