I Keep Forgetting To Post These Guys!

Well there they are. The beginning of another year may be behind us but we are still chugging along and it seems to be going fine.

Not even sure what this guy on Joshua's shirt is but it totally is the kind of shirt that fits his personality.

And last but not least, we and yes I said we, have started Morgans senior year. Holy S@#% how did that happen? I know they say that life goes by fast but this is crazy, I don't feel like I can keep up with this but I guess I have to accept it, I DON'T WANT TO, but I will.

Well I am off to create some new prints and get everyone off to school so everyone have a great day.

Valentines Are on The Way

Well the Valentines are covering the Dinning Room table. Tonight is the night the boys write their names and their friends names on all of the cards. I used to love when I was able to exchange them. I loved making the bag that hung on the front of my desk that all of my friends, including my husband, would put my valentines in. AHHHH, the good old days. Well I went into the boys rooms at school and volunteered today. There, where all of the creative Valentine Holders that the classes created for the upcoming holiday. I actually started to get excited. I love things like this. I love that the fun I had is still there for them to enjoy.

Have you started you Valentines with your kids? I purchased them today and the fun thing I located where cards that had pencils with them. Last year they picked ones with stickers for them to give away with the cards but before they even left the house the stickers where all falling off. Not fun. In fact, the concept that it is not a big deal was totally lost on Noah. He did not agree and found it to be a really big deal!

Well we have to be going to basketball tonight so I better run.

THE 09' CHRISTMAS PICTURE HAS SHIPPED!

There they are, my people. Yup, I created every last one of them with a great since of pride. But as I seal the last holiday envelope with their picture enclosed, I realize all that they have taught me. Started at the center is Noah( the little Red Head). I never realized that JOY was so free. Freely given and freely received. His smile is as big as the sun and his humor has no limit. He has a bit of little devil but he is 100% heaven sent boy.

Then there is Logan(the little blond beside my daughter. Well how do you describe HEAVEN ON EARTH? I tell my husband that there is a song that describes the way I feel about Logan coming into my life by Rascal Flats..."God Blessed the Broken Road"...that lead me straight to you. No matter what ever bad things could have ever happened in life, getting to the moment I meet Logan made it all worth it. If you can not see his mouth when he smiles, only his eyes...well, I have truly seen the meaning in real life of Irish Eyes a Smiling.

Next is my Joshua all the way on the left. He is going to be a heart breaker. He warms my heart every time I see him. He has the most beautiful little face and boy can he charm his mother. I know that he is a little troublesome truck some times but does he ever have my heart strings wrapped around his finger.

Then there is my Morgan. My dearest Morgan. She is my only girl. Hope, Faith and Love all wrapped up in a package. My husband may be my partner, but Morgan is my right hand gal. She has always been there to help me out when I need it and support me along our road of life. No one could ask for a better daughter because I have the best.

Now, in between everyone of the pictures taken, the four of them where not thrilled. Noah would not look at the camera. Josh would make a funny face at the wrong time and Morgan kept trying to keep all of her little brothers in line. Believe me when I say that I know how important family is. But I never knew how much a picture would mean to me until I started photographing these four. They are my loves and my life. And when you add Pat in it makes the circle complete. Alone we are just one of six, together we are a VERY BLESSED family!

Oh What a Day!

I think it is fitting that on mothers day we spent time with baby sheep, don't you? We went to my cousin Tiffany's house for Lunch and Tea. We had such a wonderful day. She workS at a Sheep Dairy. Yup, I had no idea that you could milk sheep. I guess they aren't just for pretty LL Bean sweaters. So below is Logan and Morgan feeding a 2 day old lamb that Tiff is holding.
My Logan also enjoying a bit of Baseball!

Two of our wonderful hosts, Jim, Tiffs hubby and their beautiful daughter Emily!

Megan, Noah, Abby, Morgan and Logan all trying to hold on to their Lamb Bottles for dear life. You can not believe how hard a 2 day old lamb can suck on a bottle.

Any who, It was a most wonderful day with my 4 babies and the rest of our family. Sometimes just sitting and talking a while is the best medicine for what ever is your issues in life. Once and a while we need to put down our glue sticks and go out there and make those memories at a slow pace to scrap about. Finding something simple is so rewarding in our crazy fast pace life. Holding the hand of your son, walking from barn to barn, and him taking the time at 12 years old to say I hope your having a good Mothers Day, makes everything worth while. Some times the price of happiness is just slowing down and seeing it right in front of you. I can truly say I saw it at a little dairy farm in the country!

Fair Time is Upon Us!

Well we live in the area of the Fair Grounds and are we ever excited. It is so much fun getting ready with all of the kids entries to be judged. This year is Logans(4) first year to enter something. And what can a 4 year old do totally on his own? Plant Sunflowers. They are over 10ft tall outside the back deck and they are a incredible learning tool for a small child. They take this small seed and put it in the ground and from it comes this Giant of a flower. Sure you could do this with any plant, but a sunflower is so big that they really get a sense of what is possible. Last year was the first time he planted them and then the birds came and ate the seeds all fall. He then learned that from his actions he was able to feed someone else. He was so amazed and could not wait until this past spring to plant again. So we dropped off his 3 Stems, 3 Flowers, 3 Leaves. This is what they describe in the book for the rules of what you bring. I gave him one of my old blue mason jars and he carried them in with pride. He watched the woman put them up on the shelf to be judge. And now he waits. Will he get a ribbon? I don't even think it matters. The look on his face as he watched that jar of flowers go up onto the shelf was totally worth it.

On the side of the biz look for some new flash cards as well as different Christmas combos. Can you smell Autumn in the air? We sure can and boy am I having fun with some great new products on the way. I am still in a holding pattern for back orders from some of the paper companies, but there are a couple that will be worth the wait.

Don't forget to leave a comment on the 8/23 posting for a chance at all that great free stuff!
